  1. What is Escape Room?
    There are different themed rooms that you join with friends, family or co-workers in which players have to solve puzzles, riddles clues and work together to complete the room as a team and escape in 60 min. or less.
  2. How many people can play at the same time?
    Most rooms are 8 players at a time, ESC will be adding rooms to accommodate more players.
  3. How do I book a room/game?
    Reservations can be made online on our home page. All games must be paid for online at the time of bookings. If you are in the area and haven't purchased tickets we can check availability for you.
  4. Large groups, corporate events, private celebrations?
    Every Second Counts can host larger groups. Groups of 8+ or more please email us at everysecondcountsesc@gmail.com or call 843-525-9000
  5. What if I’m late?
    This is really, really important. YOU CAN’T BE LATE. Think of us kind of like an airline. The plane is going to take off whether you’re on it or not. All players MUST GET TO THE SITE 10 -15 MINUTES EARLY.
  6. If I need to cancel, can I get a refund?
    We understand that things happen, but when you buy a ticket, you need to understand that there are absolutely no refunds, we can reschedule within 48 hours notice.
  7. What should we bring with us?
    Bring your friends, family, and your wits, skills, thinking cap and a good attitude! Dress comfortable and bring reading glasses if you wear them.
  8. Are we allowed to eat or drink in the room?
    Food and drinks are not permitted in the escape room facility. ESC will provide water in the lounge area.
  9. Is there an age limit?
    Most adventures are designed for players aged 10+, although we ask anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult. ESC will be adding a room for the younger age group
  10. Are you really locked inside the room?
    No, the doors will have a lock on the inside and bypass on the outside to exit. Depending on the room scenario you may need to enter a code to successfully exit the room and complete the mission.
  11. Are you handicap accessible? Where do we park upon arrival?
    Yes, We are located on the first floor and there are no steps outside or inside our facility. We offer a large parking lot for our guest, if our parking lot is full * Weekend only* please park in the Grayco Hardware parking lot next to us.
  12. Do you offer a Military Discount?
    Absolutely!! We're proud to support our nation's service members and their families. Active Duty, Veterans, Retirees, Reservists and Dependents receive a 10% discount.
  13. What happens if we or get stuck?
    We have monitors & audio in all our rooms, The Game Master will help assist you along the way if you get stuck or need help to move on to the next clue.
  14. How many participants are needed?
    There is no minimum requirement but less than four participants can be challenging. Remember, if you purchase less than the maximum number of tickets for the room you may be playing with other people.
  15. Cell Phone Usage
    Cell phones and other electronic devices must remain off and cannot be used inside the room. We will provide a storage area within the room for your personal items.

Tips

  

Follow the rules. Our staff will review the rules of the game with you before you begin, which include:
• There is no need to lift or move heavy objects, or climb on top of furniture.
• None of our games require the use of force. If something seems secured in place, it is.
• If you break something in one of our games by using excessive force or reckless behavior, you must pay for it.
• Don’t guess random combinations, try to pick locks, or use force to try opening locks.
  
• Don’t arrive after a day of bing drinking, this is not fair to other guest that you maybe working with to solve the room. 
(Anyone that is overly intoxicated will be asked to leave without a refund)
